Limes and some Yoga/Pilates for constipation


Constipation could be from lack of stomach acids and I found that squeezing fresh juice of whole lime ( not lemon) helps in increasing the stomach acid.

Squeeze one whole lime in a glass ( May take 5 minutes to squeeze all the juice) . Fill the glass with water( just 1/2 glass). Drink this mix. ( no salt and no sugar/honey added). And then drink one full glass of lukewarm water after that. (this will make sure the lime is washed from the teeth) . Do this twice a day immediately after a meal. ( Both lunch and dinner) Limes help with digestion of food as it contains citric acid and increases stomach acid.

Other thing which helps with contipation is some yoga/pilates exercices. Try to join a class. try to do some morning Yoga poses even for 15-20 minutes.

Drink plenty of lukewarm filtered water first thing in morning and take a brisk walk in and around the house. This ususally stimulates the bowels.

Of course eat healthy. Lots of salad greens, soaked nuts, sprouts, fruits, veggies, soups etc etc.

Some say constipation is the root cause of most diseases.It might be true......
