Re: Can i do a fast?

Hi Golthing
Thanks,

I took 50mg of Lugols for 4 months last year, and used to spend time on the yahoo Iodine forum, so been there, done that lol. I ended up with vitiligo, which i think was caused by the Iodine driving boron out my system, as i took a mineral test, and boron was non-existant, where it had been fine on previous test. Boron is one of the minerals needed to make pigment. So now i just take normal amounts and took boron tabs for awhile, but still got the vitiligo albeit fairly mild.

It is good to hear from someone that has done a unsupervised fast that has hypo. I really feel like my body wants to do this, but after everyone advising a supervised fast i've been a bit unsure what to do. I really don't know anyone and it is bound to be expensive if i do find someone. Sometimes you just have to go with your instincts.

I might stop the meds for the duration of the fast, no longer than 10 days or for however long i last lol.

I had already decided earlier today that i would probably do it anyway, but i've been cutting out the junk first, so it is easier on my body when i do start a fast. I also had a month of detox herbs and parasite and Colon Cleanse left which i started yesterday, so i will have to finish that now as well before starting, or abandon that for now.
If you want to be fast buddies, let me know when you are doing your next one and i might join you then.
Chris's post that relayed info about doing fasts for hypo, also said about getting neck and back corrected, i believe, and i started treatment for that today, as i have problems in those areas, so getting prepared.
How much med were you on originally before fasting?

Thanks
