as long as he follows the proper protocol and has a certificate in NICO, he would be fine, probably. clean the site with a burr and curette and flush with an aneseptic solution, then stitch it up. no packing it with medication or gauze. for a local anesthetic, use a non-epinephine, non-vaso-constrictor (be careful, some dentists will tell u there are, when they are not using this type). he should not give you antibiotics, as it will obstruct healing. if this is the way he does the cavitation cleaning, he should be ok.
