I would rather feel good, any day of the week. Seems like it usually goes hand in hand for me.
I think there are a lot of good protocols out there, but if you are not supporting the adrenals and you need to be then you will probably not experience any lasting results no matter what you do, plus you could be damaging them further by doing certain protocols such as iodine that will amp you up and put additional stress on them without the proper support. Short term support will probably not gain you much in the results department, I would adopt a good adrenal support protocol and stick to it for at least a year - you can do this in addition to other things you try and it certainly would not hurt anything. Usually thyroid problems and adrenal fatigue go hand in hand - STRESS is also a large factor, so if you are doing a bunch of protocols but remain in a stressful lifestyle it is very slow going for any healing process. Bad relationships and emotional baggage can be very physically debilitating, I know for me long-term financial stress at one time was really taking its toll on my health. Sometimes it is situations and lifestyle that are adding the largest impact to our health and we never even consider it could be one of the most important 'fixes'.
