Re: Can't beat Thrush, tried seemingly everything, what to do..

From my experience, white tongue is largely a result of being overly acidic. Do you find you easily produce mucus in the back of your throat or often get a stuffy nose or have very sensitive, cavity prone teeth? If so, you may consider imposing a very alkaline diet. From my research and personal experience, good alkalizing foods are:

- barley, kamut, wheat, alfalfa grass
- kale, spinach, dark leafy greens
- cucumber
- jicama root
- red/black radish
- lemon
- soaked/sprouted almonds
- avocado

A whey protein shake (stevia/xylitol sweetened or unsweetened) followed by a large raw salad with a variety of greens with emphasis on the strongly alkaline stuff is a good alternative to acid promoting animal meats, grains and cooked vegetables. A glass of spring water mixed with barley/kamut/wheat/alfalfa grass powder is great on an empty stomach, before bed or first thing in the morning. If you have a juicer, making a black/red leaf kale / spinach juice combination is hardcore alkalizing on an empty stomach.

Sometimes overdoing the probiotics can acidify the body as well {especially yogurt/kefir}, once you've taken a few megadoses, they are best taken in moderation.

Not sure if this will help, but some ideas to consider nevertheless :)
