Re: Wishing you Wellness...
And thus the problem...That's why I came up with the four fundamentals of Natural Healing and put them into "The Natural Healing Paradigm".
I know Barefoot has taken his son to the chiropractors so I dont know what the story is on all that.
I've only seen toe walking in males, girls don't seem to have it which of course means it can't be "normal". But then maybe it IS "normal" for this boy. Either way I've fixed a few of them over the years but it does take some time and you have to stay on top of it. I always gave the parents a special rate for those type of cases, made it affordable.
He'll probably grow out of it. But just the same it's Barefoots decission and I totally agree with the parents right to make that decission. And of course you know Barefoot, he's very well informed. And no matter what you say about him he's probably the top herbalist on the planet.
But Natural Healing IS a mess. No doubt. Most of it is due to the profit motive. But people keep coming back to the basics which IS the Natural Healing Paradigm. They'll go experimant around with this protocol or that protocol and find that most of it is just to sell a specific nutritional package. Get you to buy this product or that. But if people are genuinely serious about getting their health back they always come back to the Paradigm. Straighten it out, clean it out, feed it properly and exercise. Real simple. I've been seeing it with chiropractric all my life and with the cleaning and feeding regimes for the past ten years. You can't argue with what works. No "belief" required. You either embrace the truth or you don't.
But, you're right, there's plenty out there in Natural Healing land to get confused about. I've tried to eliminate some of that confusion with my books and CD's. And by participating on this forum.
Originally I was just as confused as the next guy when it came to the rest of Natural Healing so my prayer was simply: "God, show me the truth, I'll take it from there". Then I set to testing everything that came into my life. Being a chiroprator everyone wanted me to try this, try that, so I had access to most of the rest of it first hand. So I tested it.
Most of it was profit motive stuff. Garbage. But the things that worked worked very well and of course I got my health back. But it took a long time to test all that stuff. I was very desparate and didn't want to die so I kept at it. Took about 15 years altogether to test all that junk. Thus, the "Natural Healing Paradigm".
Takes the confusion out and on your road to health you'll always come back to the basics.
