Well...
I'm sure with one of those 7 computers you could find yourself a Mac, from the comforts of your own home. That is, if you really wanted one. I only have a small 15" laptop, and it gets the job done quite well. And I'm looking forward to having a larger laptop and a very grand home set-up some day soon.
I have found indescribable treasures on the internet, and maintained contact with people around the world. Computers and the internet are simply tools, much like pen and paper, and a library, and remarkable stories, and symbols, and pictures, and music, and movies, and sound. With the exceptions of smell, taste and touch, I have been able to truly explore my senses. And even those missed have been heightened thanks to the internet.
You said:
"I can imagine e-mails have broken up more familys than any other source of communication and on the other hand, people find people using the internet more and more every year, strangers finding strangers; that way people can lie about their past relationships over and over and over and over......"
I could imagine you may be correct about families. And then again, how much of a family bond could there have possibly been that could allow tappings on a computer keyboard and visions on a screen to tear it apart? And I wonder how many families have be brought together by the very same sources.
And are there really any strangers?
And what's a lie?
And you said:
"For the normal house..."
What is all this talk about 'normal' today? I'll ask you the same thing I asked Zoebess...
What is...normal?
lol
