Yes, the taste is affected - it's bitter. It's my first time combining ut/progesterone, and I don't think I'd be comfortable altering the dose yet... It is natural progesterone in pill form, identical to the hormone body makes... I know it will be recycled, but since I only drink 1 cup at the most, I won't be recycling all of it. We'll see how it goes, I guess :-)
