Fasting is great too, but it has to be approached very carefully. When ill it can be dangerous to fast. I think anyone who wants to fast should do so under the care of a doctor or naturopath. If the body is toxic then re-obsorption of toxins will be the result of a fast because the body will use what is available...if no nutrients are given then toxins, such as intestinal plaque and other build up will be used and that can lead to bigger problems.
Fasting has been used since the beginning, for example people of biblical times fasted but they were not toxic like we are today.
