Re: I disagree with this article's conclusions
89280,
I did mention that speaking against the status quo is considered INSULTING, didn't I?
Your reaction PROVES that I didn't validate your status quo (I wasn't asking anyone to do that, but, THANK YOU).
I was depressed for 51 years because of a dysfunctional family, divorced parents (that left me no solid identity/heritage, COMMON among children of divorce). My evaluation of the world was very REALISTIC. I never had ANY therapy (nutritionally or otherwise, in fact, my eating habits were as if I had a death wish, still are) and am in perfect health. I recovered 2 years ago because I am now the last living member of my family (I simply outlived them all).
Since you were so anxious to give me an unkind opinion ("psychobabble bunk", what have I ever done to you?, have I offended your status quo empire?), is your "cure" now dependent on the other person recieving your "discomfort"?.
If you insist on always attacking people that don't agree with your opinions/understanding, you will always be uncomfortable and "depressed".
