Have you tested the pH of the water you drink/cook with? If your water is acidic then this could be an issue. If you use distilled water only then I would consider changing to filtered water for all purposes except for the moreless drink protocol. This may help, of course, it will depend on the level of hardness of you public or well water. Hard water is best, especially if it is filtered because some beneficial minerals will be removed in the process of filtration. If you have soft water (acidic) already then contaminates could be an issue as soft water leaches inorganic metals from pipes, such as lead, copper, zinc and other trace elements.
