UT while taking hormones?

I have to take natural progesterone (pill form, 400 mg daily for 10 days) to induce my cycle. I know I shouldn't be combining allopathic medicine with UT...I'm not sure if this is true allopathic medicine,though. I've been on UT for just a month, and would prefer not to stop now - do you think it might be ok to continue, and maybe just decrease the ingested amount, to say 1/2 cup instead of 1 cup daily?
