is the risidual, not rocks, the powder when compressed for a long period will form rock given the right environment, right? Still I don't see the reasoning here? We are speaking of inorganic minerals are we not? Tell me how the minerals from the tap are any different from the minerals from the rock/salt sources you mentioned? No matter chelated or ionic they are still inorganic, right?

It seems to me that people who distill go through way too much trouble when all that needs to be done is filter out the bad stuff and retain some of the good!
