Don't know the cost out of pocket to have it removed, but whatever it is, its worth it to get your life back....Let me tell you I had the Mirean IUD for 6 weeks and I NEVER SLEPT, NEVER...only one hour here or there. I was a zombie....I got it removed and the next day I slept all day and night. When I had that...piece of shit..thing (sorry it makes me so mad that the real side effects are not told to women)....I would stay awake all day and night literally, my body would be exhausted but I would not sleep....I am a person that usually sleeps for 10 hours a night all the time and have slept for 10 hours a night for MY WHOLE LIFE until I got the Mirena IUD of which I NEVER slept no matter what I did.... I get it removed and I can sleep now.....do not believe anythign yor doctor says...the manufacture denys the complications and symptoms and this is why the doctors most likely deny them...get it removed...
