I had my gallbladder removed this past monday december the 3rd

Hello to everyone who still is suffering from Gallstones and to those who have their gallbladder removed.
First of all let me tell you that I have tried everything in order no to have the surgery but nothing worked for me.(liver and gallbladder flushes)
Finally, after 2 years of cleanses and other methods to get rid of my gallstones, I gave up on living with pain.
when they diagnosed me with Gallstones 2 years ago they discovered that I had a big gallstone and small ones (3.5cm the big one) tha's when I started doing the flushes and other things that I read in the curezone, which helped for the time being but the stone was there and still the same size after 2 years. the last cat scan they did on me in november of 2007 showed the same stone same size and one more thing the stone was calcified and the walls of the gallbladder were partially calcified too. so i decided to get the surgery done. I have read somewhere else that a calcified gallbladder or ( Porcelain Gallbladder ) may cause Gallbladder Cancer later on and compromise the liver and other organs.
I got my surgery on Monday December the 3rd, 2007 and I am feeling great.
I had the laparoscopy surgery I did not feel any pain during surgery because I was put to sleep,during my recovery which is now 8 days since my op, I only felt pain once and i believe was gas trap on the side where the gallbladder was so i took 2 painkillers tha the doc prescribed me and let me tell you it helped me with the pain but the side effects of the painkillers were the worst. other than that my recup time was and is good. I am taking easy on the foods that i eat and let my stomach adjust to the change, I don't have diahrrea or any other problem my bowel movements are normal,the wounds are healing pretty well.
I must say though the only disconfort after surgery is urine retention, but you will pee with pain like you have a stone trap, eventually the pain goes away by the sixth day after the op. just drink a loy of water.
I HOPE THIS MAY HELP ANYBODY CONSIDERING GALLBLADDER SURGERY, IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR WANT TO TALK TO ME, MY E-MAIL ADDRESS IS BELOW;
