Typical juicers discard the pulp of the produce being juiced. This pulp is either composted or even thrown away which is a terrible waste of resources. The pulp often contains more nutrients than the juice itself. The phytonutrient powerhouses are the pigments found in fruits and vegatables. These pigments are bound to the fiberous tissues of the plants and are difficult to extract via a juicer.Thats why consuming the food in its wholeness is so important for maximum nutrient uptake.A highpower blender is great for wholefood juicing and takes a whole 5 minutes to do from start to finish.I blend every day and juice twice a week and grow alot of my own food to ensure optimal nutrition.I have some pics. of my growings on in the Image Gallery in the photos section under grassmans sprouts.I dont take a multi-vitamin either because they are crap made from coal tar.I do use algea as a whole food supp. which is a true supperfood that does a body good.As far as storing fresh juice goes the best you can do is use a pump n seal and keep for a short time.Time and exsposier are the enemies of fresh juice so use wisely.Storing fresh juice is an oxymoron within itself which makes it a difficult question to address.
