Water debate 4:0
I have posted 4 scientific studies (some outside of the US) proving that soft water (distilled) is inferior to hard water (mineralized).
Studies indicate that people who drink hard waters are less likely to develop heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure and other ailments.
There is NO scientific evidence that distilled water is good for human consumption. It is only good for plants, which makes sense when you consider the properties of rain.
I think distilled water used for short periods could be beneficial if used as a detox strategy, but that's it.
After examining this issue I feel stronger than ever in my stance. My only hope is that others will consider my points and realize there is not enough evidence to show that distilled water is safe for long-term use.
Test your home's water! If the water is in good shape then simply get a basic countertop water filtration unit, like Britta, which can reduce chlorine and other contaminants. If your water is in bad shape then seek out advice from an environmental specialist to learn what your options are.
