Great job Diedre! I'd love to wait to jump on the scale so I could see a nice big drop but unfortunately I'm that kid who used to snoop for Christmas presents because I could never wait for the day. I'd even try to unwrap the ends of the wrapped ones without tearing the paper so I could peek inside. Not an enduring quality of mine! But I love that feeling when I've weighed myself out of the blue (when not dieting) and found myself to be much less than I thought. Instant gratification!!!
Can't wait for you to join us Amber!
And thank you for the tips Valerie.
I've already made up my mind to eat when I need to as far as my social functions (like on the 14th) and fast on the other days. So far it hasn't been hard for me to turn down sweets and treats brought in by co-workers. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I work with many women who love to bring in goodies. So they're always around and I've kinda gotten sick of them. This is my third extended fast this year and they've gotten used to me turning away from their sugar. Usually after my first week of fasting I don't even crave sweets but I do crave carbs a bit.
Thanks again....
