Sometimes I think doctors overlook fungus and yeast as a causing factor to many illnesses, including depression, anxiety, fibromyalgia, and possibly even autism and multiple sclerosis. It's as if they have been trained to think that bacteria and viruses are the cause of everything. Once you tumble on to the yeast/fungus connection, however, it's important to get help from someone who specializes in this area. One resource I've found is at the Yeast Connection Website. At this link, you can find a link to the American College of Advanced Medicine, where there are doctors who specialize in yeast overgrowth. If you type in "yeast syndrome" there might be some doctors in your area who specialize in this field. I was lucky in that my yeast infection had jumped from my body and had started growing down my legs. Well, I guess that's not lucky in itself, it's just that when that happened, the doctors had to deal with my problem as a yeast infection. I don't think I would have gotten well otherwise.
