Re: Don't really know if it is Candida... ??
Hey, how are you doing? I check back to the forum frequently hoping to see a posting from you about some good news concerning your progress. I for one am very excited about my endoscopy next week and my upcoming tests for H Pylori and SBBO. I know that you've already been through all of that with no results, but I'm sure that you will find some answers.
My mother spoke with a friend of hers who had bloating issues and apparently she cut out gluten and improved after a YEAR. I'm not suggesting this as I think that this woman just made a very, very lucky guess (had not been tested for celiac) and somehow had some success even though she does not actually follow a strict gluten-free diet but just cuts out grains with gluten in them (I don't know what this means-- maybe she has some wheat allergy?). But the point is, that even if we don't come up with positive tests and find something with obvious treatment, there are STILL OPTIONS out there. Don't give up hope! If these tests come back with nothing, I am going to request x-rays and an upper gi series. After that will be the naturopath, and after that I will consult a dietician and go on one of those super-strict lamb and rice diets for as long as it takes. I will keep you posted, especially if I make any progress.
I wish you the best of luck. As long as we continue to be persistant, I know we will eventually be successful in finding cures and answers. Take care; you can do it!!
