Because of the sugars and excessive bromides in some of the gatorade flavors, I'd like to respectfully add here that gatorade isn't a good idea.
Having said that, I have learned that when one adds a good quality Seasalt with trace minerals (LIKE THIS ONE that you can find at your local hfs) with warm water, (like in the salt-water cleanse, or THIS "RECIPE"), you are actually creating electrolytes! Warm water and salt mixed together is called an infusion, and creates electrolytes for the body.
If you DO do the salt-water cleanse I mentioned in my above post, however, make sure you get plenty of fresh water throughout the day AFTER the cleanse.
