We rid our body of toxins through the skin. The oilpulling Doctor said when things start getting worse before they get better then you know that's a sign of healing. I have found that to be true in my case. You may want to research healing reactions of retracing. I had the weepy blisters all over my hands going up my arms after my mom died. Maybe it was stress due to her death, but it seemed to not go away. I talked to someone who also had it and they said I would have to put a medicated cream on it the rest of my life. He worked in a doctors office as a medical assistant. He had the same thing and used the cream all the time. He eventually ended up committing suicide. I read that alot of those creams have mercury in them and pushes the toxins even deeper into the internal organs. So I chose to let this stuff take it's time coming out of my skin and started eating a lot healthier, for me I ate macrobiotic. Since the skin is a major detox organ, why would I take steps to keep it in rather than let my body in it's wisdom throw the garbage out? That was my reasoning. It finally went away. I've only had some short flare ups since then. I was not going to put chemicals on my skin the rest of my life like I was advised, to keep that toxic stuff from coming out. I wanted it out. I didn't know about oilpulling then but I had such great effects with oilpulling helping my teeth and ridding me of allergies, that I will continue as I believe the results are slow in coming (it took me 4 months to rid allergies) but they are consistent, in taking a load off the body and allowing it to heal itself. This is my humble opinion.
