Gout is a build up of uric acid. There are certain foods that should not be eaten ro drank when this occurs.
I have read (and used) that taking ACV baths for 20 minutes helps to disperse the uric acid. I have taken a bath the last 2 nights with ACV and this morning (before I ate a candy bar :D...yes I know, it is time to release them from my diet!) that my toe was not bothering me at all! I was bending and touching it with no problems.
I had added other things in my bath...ES, MSM, Miracle II soap and neutralizer...so, it is possible that these could have assisted as well as the ACV. I do know I feel sooooo soft and my toe does not hurt.
I am sure someone (Doc or otherwise) can tell you the foods that are best not to eat when having issues with gout.
