Re: Craving Salt

I also crave salt. There is the lymephoto website that encourages the use of Sea Salt to rid lyme, They encourage High Vit C and Sea Salt . I take anywhere between 1/4 to 1/2 tspn himalayan Sea Salt in glass of water alone or sometimes with the same amount of sodium ascorbate (Vit C), and it really helps with my chronic fatigue. I think some people are low in sea salt from heavy metals from what I've learned. I can tell how much I need. My body lets me know when to use less sea salt. The lymephoto site says in the past people used to consume about 20 grams of Seasalt per day before they had refrigeration. I think people get into trouble though when they eat the salt that has been heated to outrageously high temperatures and has aluminum added to make it free flowing. I believe that's why people start having problems with their health in consuming this salt which doesn't have the electrolytes left in it, but has been highly processed with additives. I've eaten and taken with water as much as 4 tsps a day which I believe is 16 to 20 grams. Now I don't seem to crave as much after taking high amounts for so long. I've found it beneficial for me. But I try to stay at or below the 20 grams. This is my humble opinion.
