--Testimonials--Three more Thriving on Alkalizing--
I take a soup pot and fill it with greens about three quarters of the way to the
top. Then fill it with water and about half a cup to a cup of sliced ginger. I
bring the whole thing to a boil and then let it simmer for about two hours. My
mother and sister and I then freely reheat and take soup from the pot for the
next 2-3 days. I try to vary the mixture based on availability but I primarily
use (kale (red and green), chard (red and green), collard greens, beet greens,
and outer cabbage leaves). After all the soup is gone I compost the vegetables
I usually spice the whole mixture with pink himalayan salt or some other kind of
sea salt, and black pepper. Then we each add an amount of cayenne pepper to each
of our bowls to suite each of our tastes. I also add a squeeze of lemon and a
couple tablespoons of pickling lime water into my soup to start the release of
energy from the minerals. The soup is also a great way to take the powdered
kelp. It adds a nice texture to the soup kind of like miso and the soup and
cayennne mask the taste of the kelp which some people do not like.
You should see the pot that I use, it is coated with mineral deposits :)!
