good luck for removal. take it nice and easy when you go home. i found it best to lay down for a while, and would also suggest no bending or lifting anything heavy for a few days and only gentle excercise in the form of walking for a few days too, so as not to stretch or put any strain on that area. It goes without saying that to help avoid long term health problems, any "normal" synthetic hormones should be avoided. Removal itself should be fine - it shouldnt hurt, just a bit of discomfort. As i said before though, it can take a few months to really get 100% back on track after mirena, so this is not the end, but the start of your journey back to good health - but the most important first step, none the less!! let us know how you get on, hopefully at least some of your symptoms should start to get better soon! x
