Re: Oil Pulling for Mercury Detox

Thanks Molly!

I agree with you on many of your statements.

I have not done OP while sick (because of what ted said) however, without even reading here I wondered why, and yes I tried to find a reason for his statement also and couldnt find one. But it stand to reason that OP would help pull toxins out, so after reading here, that confirmed it for my mind.

I also agree that OP seems to be much more that just metals, but then who knows maybe all the other things that it helps with originate from metals. Either way, it does appear to help so many things.

Ted believes in giving the body a "rest" regardless if he is talking about OP or vinegar, baking soda, or anything. I do agree with him on that one just because I have experienced this myself on so many levels, from medications, to simply hair product, to herbs, that taking it day in and day out the body gets a tolerance to "it". So I have found giving my body a break does help. You somewhat might agree by saying you switch oils in order to get better performance instead of a break. But I have found taking a 2 day break works for me.

"He seems to be under the impression that people get sick from all oils except Olive"
Hmm, I have not read that, or gotten that impression, and really, I dont think it makes sense since he talks about using coconut and sunflower. Either way, I guess thats a personal thing. I like to experiment, though I will confess I haven't strayed to far from the main topic oils.

All in all I think Ted, you, Kebod and the several forums I have found on Oil pulling are a tremendous blessing to the public regardless of the little differences of opinion. Its been so benenficial, every single person who contibutes their experiences and all forums talking about it that I say thank you to everyone!

Thank you for sharing your opinions Molly. Different opinions are what helps me make up my own mind along with my own experiences. :)
