more questions about olive leaf symptoms

Hey, I was taking olive leaf and started to get sore throat, swollen glands, and thought it was because of the olive leaf and stopped, and they went away. Then i though, maybe it wasnt the olive leaf, started taking again and sympotms returend. I had my wife try the olive leaf and it gave her swollen glands and sore throat as well.

Could someone help me understand what olive leaf is doing to cause this?
