Part of my post got lost

It was about how we are just on the edge and it could easily go backwards at this time - What with the religeous climate in this country and the appalling religeous climate in some other countries. Margaret Atwood laid it out for us in the "Handmaidens Tale" Yes I do think it could easily happen I'm sorry to say. Can't go into it in detail right now but I really don't think we can even for a moment let down our guard - what with promis keepers and quiverfull characters etc. and the majority of the young people half asleep anyway.

My niece - a very sweet and bright 25 year old says she thinks her generation is actually content to just pull the covers over their heads because it all seems so overwhelming. Complacency is rampant.Apathy rules and allows us to be ruled. Tweet
