I also have had another thought while researching and studying this...
While I was a little perplexed at your idea of an alkaline skin mantle, I have
since, after researching this information feel that a more neutral or slightly
alkaline skin mantle may in fact be the way it is "supposed" to be. However,
since we are so far removed from our natural environment AND naturally occurring
in season foods the idea that skin mantle is slightly acidic may be due solely
to a misunderstanding and lack of a true "control group".
IMO, with a slightly alkaline mantle, the skin would better react to the sun
light as was intended to reap the greatest benefit. I do know that I do not burn
like I used to and can turn darker before others eyes as I stay in the sun over
the course of the day...
Additionally, I think that an alkaline skin mantle would most likely create
immunity to things like sun burn (unless one over did it, but in this case one
would most likely seek shade before that happened) and skin cancer. I have also
observed that slowly, over time (I only do one or two a week) the alkaline baths
along with everything else seems to help in the reduction of size and number of
moles.
Still thinking on this alkaline skin mantle thing though. There is next to
nothing available on it and all my thoughts are just extrapolated from what I
know.
