WOW!! My mom's father was a very bad alcoholic! He used to pass out all the time, and would beat everyone.-- He wanted to quit, but couldnt do it until later in life. Thankfully, he died with a humble attitude and before he left, he wanted to show his love to his kids and my grandmother to make it up to them.

My aunt and mom and I take after him more than my grandmother! This is interesting, thanks so much for the link and your response!


My sister also takes after my mom's side of the family- and is especially like my aunt. For this reason, she has always been afraid to have children because of what happened to my aunt- and like my aunt, actually can't conceive without medicinal "help".
