Re: BI-Polar
Dear Darlene,
That fact from the book from Dr. Ann Tracy just struck me as I was reading it:
((Everyone should buy "Help I can't get off my antidepressant" by Dr. Ann Tracy and learn that all mental illness is blood sugar related, and how the method by which these drugs are suppose to work is flawed.))
My mother's side of the family (my Bipolar aunt is her sister) have inherent blood sugar issues so what the doctor said in that book makes perfect sense! I had to run downstairs to share that with my mother after reading your post. We always joke about our bloodsugar issues. My father thinks were' all nuts, because his family never had these issues. Even my mom's brother gets' the "jitters" if he skips a meal. My mom will eat a spoonful of peanutbutter to make her feel better. I used to do that too.
That's why I was afraid of doing my first liver flush at first. I was afraid my blood sugar would drop too low from not eating - so I ate tons right before 2:00.
Whatever the case, this inherited blood sugar condition is not normal. It probably comes from decades of my mom's side of the family eating too much white flour stuff, etc. They are all Slovack/Polish/German-- and they sure love their Pierogies!
