Ensuring vitamin e enema reaches entire large colon?? to heal all ulcers...

Sheldon,

I have just looked up my medical records and found that I have ulceration of the large colon right through to the caecum (the entire large colon), please see the following link for a diagram to illustrate:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cecum

I was diagnosed with moderately active ulcerative collitis, but what I dont understand is that with the baby enema bulb and its small capacity - how can any of the vitamin e fluid reach the end of the large colon towards the caecum? Are you sure a longer tube with a larger enema fluid dispenser is not needed in order to fully distribute the vitamin e fluid throughout all ulcerated areas?

Please advise.

Many thanks for the guidance.

Jamie.
