Need answers about my crazy boyfriend.

I think my SO has NPD, and I have gotten used to a lot of his stupid behaviors, but one of them strikes me as stranger and that is that he tends to mimic my behaviors and words. For example if I cut myself on monday, he will complain on tuesday that he cut himself too. Or if I look for a new job and complain about only finding a certain type of job he will say he looked online for a job for himself and only found that too. And he says this like in a purely conversational way. He does this all the time. It's making me think he is certifiable. Surely he knows I would notice this no? He will also use expressions that I have used back at me in normal conversations as if I wouldn't notice that I had just said that exact same thing the day before! He basically just seems to mirror me. What is that about!!? What's even weirder is that I have told him things that various exboyfriends have done in the past that I disliked and somehow he manages to do them all!!! (i am so sorry now that i trusted him enough to tell him stuff like this but this was before i ever could have known he had a problem like this) Anyway the fact that he copycats and mimics me makes me doubt he has NPD but that he may frankly just be INSANE. I have so far not seen this type of behavior listed in descriptions of NPD behaviors. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Is this NPD or something else? Tweet
