Aside, about seeds

You are one smart cookie, Aslanlight!

And, your intuition is right on!

If you ever want to grind your own...a cheap coffee grinder does the trick...for about $20 you can grind all sorts of dry, sort of hard things, for years.

Seeds are tiny packages of superior nutrients that nature has put away for the benefit of the plant, maybe decades down the road.

Seeds put away in the right conditions, like in a covered clay pot in a high, dry cave, a thousand years ago, have been sprouted and grown.

During the bombing blitz, in London, weeds and flowers which hadn't seen the light of day for fifty or a hundred years bloomed once more. Botanists were ecstatic.

Enjoy!
