Re: I tried this
Okay, I'll bite. Hmmm scientific cause and effect. We can only speculate. The only "scienific" study done on this is in Russian. If you speak Russian, you are our hero.
This is what I think:
#1 - there are some bacteria and pathogens that simply cannot be removed by convential methods (brushing, alcohol rinsing, etc.) These bacteria are really nasty. They are the ones that develop huge colonies and bacteria cities and cause not only gum disease, but if they get organized enough, you start to swallow them and they begin to attack other areas of the body. That's why some people die after a dental visit and they release a ton of bacteria into your body.
root canals are a PERFECT example, and people have died after these. This bacteria however is attracted to oil. When you swish and spit, you are capturing these little buggers and expelling them. These horrible bacteria are the ones that form all that yellow plaque on your teeth. Small wonder that people report how white their teeth get after OPing.....it's all that stuff you are cleaning out, and very effectively so.
#2 - you are absorbing the oil, and all the good essential fatty acids from it. Many of us are deficient in EFA's. Every organ of the body uses EFA's and thrives.
When they make sublinugal medication, they often use Oleic acid as an enhancer to help the medication enter the system. Well we are just using those acids without the medication...same thing. When you OP, you are absorbing the EFA's as effectively as any medication you would put under your tongue. And that goes straight into your blood system instead of through your digestive system. Then you are not competing with digestive juices, you have a straight vehicle.
This is why people think they are "oiling yourself from the inside out". That's why all of a sudden your heels get soft, as do your elbows. Drying skin conditions seem to be helped. Hair may seem greasier or more conditioned.
You are basically dosing yourself with EFA's in the most direct way possible. And when we add Oil of Oregano or some other essential oil to the mix, then the same thing occurs. I think adding oils to our OP is most likely the most direct route possible.
It's all about sublingual absorbtion.
OP is amazing. This is my theory, and after all the time I've spent reading the hundreds of testimonials, I think I'm right. It's just so logical.
Anyway, as I said, it's only my theory. Would love to do a scientific study, but alas, who the heck would spend the time or the money! No money in it.
