Thank you everyone for the advice. This is very helpful. I have started out with a very weak digestion to begin with which was a main reason for the fast, so I really need to be careful! In the past raw veggies other than a simple salad or baby carrots has been too rough for me, so I have always steamed them or made soups. So it sounds like I should probably just stick to fruit for the most part and vegetable juices. I just don't want to have so much sugar, so I wanted to be able to incorporate veggies sooner. I have a few more days to investigate though!
