Mesentery Painting Experience [Edited]
I am not using
Iodine internally at this time because I am working on clearing out elimination channels...bowel and kidney cleanses.
Sunday afternoon I painted a fist-sized area as described in the Mesentery FAQ with 5 drops of 5% Lugols. Within a few minutes I could taste the
Lugols in my mouth and felt a cool sensation at the painting site. (Much appreciated as it was about 90 degrees here!) I wasn't congested prior to painting and noticed no particular effect on my sinuses, ears or breathing...although I could definitely taste and smell the iodine. Within a few more minutes I felt a rush of energy to the top of my head, which then developed into a headache at my crown and lasted for several hours...an energy blockage, my guess. About 20 minutes after painting I noticed a pronounced streaming/flowing sensation in both of my legs. This was very similar to the sensations I experience in my legs after a long brisk walk or run. After another 10 minutes or so, I felt a distinct openess and circulation of energy on the inside of both legs from my feet all the way up. I have had this exact same sensation while having acupuncture treatments and believe that the
Iodine painting stimulated meridians...liver, kidney and/or spleen (not sure which). Gradually, the painted spot changed from a cool sensation to an icy/hot sensation, and the spot was tender to the touch. I also had a bit more difficulty falling asleep Sunday night.
Monday afternoon, I repeated the painting and had the same experience...although I did not have the crown headache and the other sensations were not as pronounced. Sunday's painted spot was no longer tender and was barely visible.
I'm about to paint the spot again. Like yesterday, the spot is barely visible and it feels fine...no tenderness. I'll update if I have anything new to report.
BTW...thanks LadyLove!
PTree :)
[Edit] I forgot to add that I developed a slight sore throat yesterday and it is a little worse today. I'll be watching to see if it's related to mesentery painting or not. Stay tuned...
