losing hair - iodine side effect?

I've been taking 6 drops of 2% Lugols a day... for about a week..
been losing more than usual hair.

I take a bio-identical estrogen.. (I was losing hair before the this a couple years ago but havent been losing since I started the bio identical )

I read Iodine interacts with a certain form of estrogen changing it (supposedly for the better) ... wondering if my hormones are getting out of wack.
