Re: day one: i have questions i NEED answered paleeez :D
I wouldn't think eating the
Sugar free stuff would be safe. Even if it doesn't negate the effects of the fast the artificial sweeteners if it has any in it could be dangerous to ingest during a fast. But I believe that it would negate the fast and you would be in danger of starving your body if you ate that during the fast. If you feed your body nutrients or energy of any sort it will expect you to feed it all that it needs and will not use it's own stores in perfect balance to cleanse and keep you alive.
If you stick to the fast on water only for that time you probably will lose the weight you wish to. It is just as important however to allow another 20 days beyond the end of the fast to 'recover' and slowly let your body reactivate it's normal digestive systems, some of which at least are busy doing other things during the fast. This means eating raw foods- soft fruits and juices to begin with, then adding salad vegetables later. And avoiding all artificial and overly processed foods until the recovery period is finished. It can not only be dangerous to end a long term fast with the wrong foods (i.e. cooked foods especially) but it is likely to pile on the weight again and very quickly put you back to where you were before. The body once cleaned out after a fast will be looking for clean raw foods with plenty of water content for easy digestion and physical movement through a body that has not had anything in it for several weeks.
Do a search on 'how to break a fast properly' and also 'natural hygiene' if you want to know more about what the body will appreciate you feeding it and what it won't. :)
Good luck, and take care!
Andrew.
