Re: Day 20WF: surferwoman, on-a-mission
Hi 83873, glad to hear from you. We were all curious as to how you are doing. Wow, you lost a lot of weight. Good for you. Oh yes, I definately had/have health issues. I had high blood pressure but I think its going down. I can tell by the way I feel. I have a blood pressure monitor device but I don't use it. I can tell by the way I feel. You're right when you say to know your own body. I do know my own body and believe me, from now on I'm going to listen to it more carefully that in the past.
Oh, I got off the track. Besides having high blood pressure, I had IBS but I think its gone now. I couldn't sleep, woke up 3 or 4 times a night to use the bathroom. My bladder was going haywire. I had a hard time getting in/out of bathtub because of overweight.
No energy. I was always getting out of breath easily.
In other words, I felt like I was dying. I had no choice but to go on a fast.
The only symptom I have is weekness sometimes but then I take an enema and it goes away. I definately believe in enamas. I wouldn't do a fast without doing it. I just feel lots better after doing one, not week or anything. With me it makes my symptoms go away. Well, I guess it would be embarrassing to have your husband walk in on you doing an emema. I don't have that problem as I'm single with no children, so that makes fasting easier for me. My children are grown and married. But, can't you do it laying on your bathroom floor. It doesn't take that long. Just pretend you're taking a bath.
