Day 6
Day 6...well, I finally reached 200 lbs.
SW 213, CW 200. Thanks to all who responded to my previous posts. Its getting easier, I'm sleeping better. Years ago, in school I researched 'Salt' and did a Thesis on it. I learned that salt causes the body to retain water. When you fast, you de-salt the body. As the salt goes, so goes the water.
I'm angry that companys put so much salt in our food. They use the salt as a preservative. I bought a Ham once and I couldn't even taste the meat. It was like eating pure salt. I took it back. Companys also use the wrong kind of salt. Iodized salt is a chemical, which our bodies can't assimilate. We have to use natural salt which our bodies can assimilate (bought at health food stores). And even then we can get too much. More is not necessarily better. At any rate, fasting will eliminate the excess salt and the kidneys will function much better. Fasting rules! Now onto 199. (Sung to the tune of Beers on the wall-- 200
pounds of fat on the wall, 200
pounds of fat; If one of those
pounds should happen to fall, 199 pounds on the wall :) Have a good one, fasters.
