Heater, thank you for sharing your story. I went through the same thing as you with my child at 18 months. I am positive her learning disabilities stem from the encephalitis she endured at that awful time.
Parents who like us have endured these terryfying experiences and their sad consequences should stand our ground and do evertything to make others aware.
