Re: Day 12WF
I completed a 21-day
Water Fast about a month ago. I too expected to not sleep very well and since I am normally an insomniac, I figured it would be worse. Instead I slept A LOT. I usually slept for a solid 7 hours during the night (which never happens to me) and then I would usually take a nap in the afternoon for several hours as well. I too experienced extreme weakness most of the time with short bouts fo real energy and usually only took a short walk outside in the sunshine once a day. Feeling weak means your body is using energy to heal and even though I made one feeble attempt to exercise (for less than 5 minutes), I know you are not supposed to exercise heavily on a
Water Fast (although I read about people doing that and it scares me). My heart raced when I tried to exercise one time so I don't know how other peopel do that.
I had various aches and pains that came and left during the fast, but unless you are being supervised by a professional, only you can decide if what you feel makes you want to stop or not. There were plenty of pains I had that made me want to stop and then went away, but this is something you would have to decide for yourself.
Water fasting is the only thing that has really helped my allergy and candida issues among other things.
Best wishes.
