Re: Would this interfere with absorption of iodine?

The literature all says that it does. However, I personally would not discontinue something that seems to be giving me positive results.

The body needs more than just iodine, and whole foods provide those other things. We never know if those brassicas are working in the body to attack some latent cancers, for example. Or it may be healing your digestive tract, for another example.

If it were me, I would go by how my body feels. Several times a week, I make a huge stir fry with vegetables, and sometimes I put in those vegetables as well. I put in a couple of small eggs, and it is always the most satisfying meal of the day. I can't do grains or fruits, so I have to get my nutrients in vegetables and proteins. It works for me. When my body begins to respond differently, I will eat differently.

Look, all our bodies are different. We do very well by listening to our own bodies. It seems as if this is good for you, now, at this very time. I personally would continue with it, and keep listening to my body. There may come a time when you will need and want to give it up because of what your body tells you.
