Liver detoxification should only be done once the liver is free flowing. This is achieved by utilizing a liver flushing protocol. Then and only then one should move to detoxifying the liver cells. If you try and stimulate liver detox (via an herb like milk thistle) or any cellular detox before the liver is free flowing, you will just detox and then retox. This can actually make you sicker as you take toxins out of storage and mobilize them throughout your system via the blood stream. You risk taking things out of safe storage and distressing other organs and tissue, etc as the toxins move to new locations.
Liver flushing...then liver detox....then celluar detox (all the time building the system with living, raw vegan food (especially juices).
