More than likely, if you are going to feel bad it will be during the night or early morning. I've done it 3 times and have never had pain, but on the last one woke up at 6:00 very sweaty, lightheaded and nauseated for about 15 minutes before passing a big bowful of bright green stones, more than I've had on the first 2 combined, I think. In all honesty, that episode was a little scary because I thought I was going to black out or something, but I didn't and it passed pretty quickly, after which I felt much better. All 3 times at one point during the flush I thought, this sucks, I feel sick, I'm never doing it again, but by the next day after a couple trips to the bathroom and seeing the truly impressive evidence of how much you can clear all at once, it's motivated me to do it again (not to mention the slow, but steady health improvements after years of chronic problems).
I wanted to chip in my 2 cents on that because a lot of folks seem to breeze right through it (and you may be one of them), but it is a little tougher for some. HOWEVER, the results are still WELL WORTH a night of discomfort. Best thing to do is just clear the next day to rest. I usually just sit around and watch TV, which is almost like a little vacation for me. The worst part for me seems to be nausea from the oil, but I rubbed a little peppermint oil under my nose and around my temples the last time and noticed it seemed to help.
I also drink a little apple juice throughout the evening and push everything ahead a couple hours cause I'm a night person, and I've still had good flushes. First time it's probably best to follow the protocol to the letter, but I think you can tailor it to your particular needs after you get the hang of it. I read about it here for over a year and kept putting it off because I was, well, chicken shit. I wish I hadn't - I'd be a lot farther along by now. Good luck and please post your results!
