I started the Master-Cleanse
Fri Jan 10th. Got back from a 3 week holiday, so my fridge was empty. The friday was my transition day, little food and lemonade drink. Saturday was my first true Master-Cleanse
As for keeping the weight off, I followed the coming off the fast protocol and then I just wasn't hungry as much. I was also much more consciousness of what I was eating and eating less. I did the blood clease right away after, consisting of only fruit and vegetables, I craved none of my usual. I think the blood cleanse really made the impact along with the MC. I used to have salt, grease, and Sugar
cravings, (read bags and bags of chips and cheesies, ice-cream, desserts and other junk) and now I dont' get the cravings anymore. I thought I would treat myself to a bag of cheesies a while back, well I felt sick after only getting a third into the bag.
I used to just pour from the bag when I cooked pasta or rice. Now I measure out exactly half cup uncooked. Look at it and say that's not very much. Eat it anyways and end up being full. I also do something very physically active as soon as I get up, like power walk around the block or walk up the stairs from the lobby to my apt (25th floor, take 5 min of steady walking). Gets the metabolism going earlier in the day and you can burn up to 30% more calories in a day by doing that.
Healthier eating and much smaller portions, I lost another 5lbs, so now up to -18lbs, with another 15-20lbs to go. After the doing all the cleanses and detox, I'm so much more aware of how much food is around me and how much I used to eat and how much others are eating. I guess now that I'm more spring-cleaned out internally, my body is much more efficient with nutrient uptake (with the sludge out of the way) and therefore I need to eat less.
Post again if you want to know more stuff.
