Hello friends - I would very much appreciate having a clue as to what people are taking Iodine for - Is it to cure one or more diseases? or to use as a supplement for thyroid problems or something? Sorry to show my ignorance but I would like to know because I hear people talking about it on a lot of the forums. They already know about it - to me it is like greek.
Thanks for any assistance.
I want to find out if it is something I want to try.

Well - that is exactly what I needed. I have been looking and looking and although I found endless discussions about Iodine it was always among people who already knew the basics and I don't. I had never come across a web site that had some information about what it is used for. Now that I have found the McAdams site I know a lot more and I think I may have to try some and see what happens.
I will get some of the lugols, but I am looking forward to the plant based one that the barefoot herbalist is working on and hasn't completed yet.
