Pleased to oblige,
I ran into low electrolytes because of my already malnourished body prior to commencing the fast. This was because of Advanced Leukemia, where I had not been able to eat very much for a prolonged period.
I am of the opinion that (along with all of the great advocates of water-fasting in history) that consuming anything other than pure water during the fast, interferes with the cleansing and healing process and is therefore not advisable.
In nature, animals are not able to undergo enemas/purges while fasting when sick, and I believe the same thing applies to us humans as well.
Celtic salt is a nutrient and therefore reduces the benefits.
Sometimes, several prolonged fasts, with good eating habits in between, are necessary to achieve ones health-goals from the outset.
